That's a heartbreaker for sure.
You can see the hurt in the little boy's eyes as he tries to be brave.

But I also imagine the officer handing him the flag was about to lose it as well.

I always lose it at military funerals.

God bless our service men and women. And God bless that little boy.

As a military wife, this picture touches my heart in more than one way ....... especially since my husband is leaving in July for his second tour in Iraq.

My husband will tell you that the military chaplains have one of the hardest jobs in the Army.
